Description
NEEL 65 Evolution: The flagship of the NEEL shipyard in La Rochelle, France, offers a very modern, dignified ambience on its almost 20-meter length and is in no way inferior to the smaller models in terms of sailing performance. The concept of the cross-float main deck impresses with a feeling of spaciousness and ample room with a huge kitchen area separated by windows next to an adjustable dining area and generous sofa area. The transition to the cockpit is seamless thanks to a large sliding door that connects the saloon interior with the cockpit to form the so-called cockloon, one of Neel’s trademarks. The outside area also features the “control center” – the steering cockpit located one deck higher, from which all the necessary functions for steering and sail control can be accessed. Several sun loungers, an inside steering position, aft garages with hatches and easily accessible technology with centrally concentrated focal points round off the concept. The Neel 65 Evolution is available in various versions as an owner’s yacht or for luxury charter cruises with up to 8 berths.

Stability: A Neel trimaran sails with the main hull and the lee float in the water. This means that a Neel always has a slight lean when sailing (approx. 5-8°) and this lean remains stable even in strong winds! Reason: the wind pressure on a tri does not “only” have to lift the hull (as on a cat) but also push the leeward hull under water.
